Prof. Alessandro Pozzi, DDS, PhD has been practicing dentistry since 1997, specializing in Oral Surgery, Orthodontics, and TMJ dysfunctions. He holds dual licensure with the Italian General Dental Council of Rome and the UK General Dental Council of London.

Prof. Pozzi is a Clinical Researcher and Professor at the University of Rome Tor Vergata and serves as Adjunct Associate Professor at the Goldstein Center for Esthetics and Implant Dentistry, Augusta University (USA). He is also an Adjunct Clinical Professor in the Department of Periodontics and Oral Medicine at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry (USA), and a Lecturer at Harvard School of Dental Medicine (USA), Department of Restorative & Biomaterials Sciences.

In recognition of his contributions to the field of osseointegration, he was awarded Fellowship status by the Academy of Osseointegration (AO) in 2020. In 2023, he earned the Dual-Specialist Diploma in Surgical and Prosthetic Implant Dentistry from AO. In 2024, he was honored with membership in the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, an exclusive, invitation-only distinction.

Prof. Pozzi is an internationally published author and recipient of multiple awards for his clinical research. He lectures globally and is the founder of the Pozzi Institute in Rome, one of the few international centers accredited by the Academy of Osseointegration for meeting its rigorous academic and clinical standards. At the institute, he trains dental professionals from around the world.

Renowned as a global expert in digital implant dentistry and advanced technologies—including navigation and robotics. Prof. Pozzi focuses on the surgical and prosthetic aspects of full-arch digital treatments, such as FP1 and All-on-X protocols, with an emphasis on digitally driven, personalized esthetic outcomes.
