Objetivos

• Organizar, gestionar y dirigir el protocolo de primera visita, diagnóstico, elaboración de plan de tratamiento y formas de plantear el presupuesto y plan económico.
• Historia clínica del paciente de implantes, manejo clínico de factores de riesgo, metabolopatías, anticoagulantes, enfermedades sistemas, bifosfonatos, enfermedades psiquiátricas y neurológicas a tener en cuenta.
• Entender la biología y traducción clínica del hueso crestal, factor que condiciona la técnica quirúrgica, el diseño protésico, la prevención de la periimplantitis y la fidelización del paciente.
• Aprender las técnicas quirúrgicas y el manejo de sus complicaciones, así como su planificación para poder tratar cualquier caso con seguridad.
• Entender la importancia del diseño de la prótesis y su mantenimiento, sus conceptos mecánicos y biológicos e incorporar una gestión del laboratorio moderna, con visión clínica y de crecimiento asumiendo unos protocolos de eficiencia en los controles del gasto.
• Incorporar los conceptos de estética facial así como aprender todas las técnicas de estética y manejo de rellenos.

Ever since Dr. Paulo Maló published the first article on the All-on-4™ protocol for implant reconstruction of the mandibular full arch in 2003, there have been significant changes in the way dental professionals managing patients for full-arch implant restoration. Initially, there were concerns regarding the use of only four implants to support a full arch fixed restoration. The dental community exercised caution, particularly when the All-on-4™ protocol was indicated for immediate loading. 

After 25 years of clinical application and extensive documentation, All-on-4™ has firmly established itself as an effective method for full arch and full mouth dental implant reconstruction, particularly in patients with limited bone volume in the posterior oral regions. 

In recent years, dentistry has been undergoing digital transformation, with the integration of a complete digital workflow into dentists' everyday practices, including dental implant treatments. 

This three-day course aims to present the long-term evidence of All-on-4™ from both literature sources and real-world experiences. Additionally, the course will demonstrate the benefits of digitalization in full-arch protocols with live procedures. This small group comprehensive 2-Day program focuses on the merits of embracing Immediacy as a patient centered implant prosthodontic treatment solution. Through a series of live and previously recorded surgeries, formal presentations, group discussions and hands-on training, dental teams will become familiar with the merits of Immediacy Protocols for both the single tooth and full arch solutions. Particular emphasis will be placed on how best to have the entire team embrace and advocate for Immediacy Protocols to be adopted in dental practices.

This two-day program will feature a variety of clinical cases showcasing importance of digital workflows from the esthetic zone to full-arch rehabilitation. This 2 day didactic and hands-on program is for the GP who wants to improve their fundamental surgical skill set. Participants will be able to experience a wide variety of
surgical procedures typically seen in a GP office, but the emphasis will be on developing effective clinical skills in flaps, suturing and extractions.

This course is limited attendance with a low instructor to student ratio and will take place in our simulation lab where you will learn on phantom heads, special dental models, and pig mandibles.

Learning Objectives

• Effectively assess patient and procedural risks
• Develop proficiency in the selection and use of surgical instruments
• Learn and apply surgical approaches to minimize tissue traumaManage

Simulation lab experience will include:

• Flap design
• Suturing (interrupted, continuous locking, figure of 8)

• Introduction to implant placement (guided and freehand)

Fundamental course focusing on immediate implant placement, delayed implant therapy and soft tissue management, as well as management of complications.

This trainning course combines theoretical and practical content in which the student will acquire the knowledge and confidence necessary to perform zygomatic implant surgeries.
