Nobel Biocare RPM reinforced PTFE mesh

RPM™ reinforced PTFE mesh

The porosity of a mesh, the adaptability of a membrane

Meet RPM™ reinforced PTFE mesh. RPM features unique macropores designed to allow revascularization and infiltration of cells into the bone graft, facilitated by direct contact between the graft and periosteum. The space-maintaining titanium frame conforms to tissue contours, making RPM suitable for horizontal and vertical ridge augmentation procedures.

Note: Only use RPM when primary closure can be achieved and maintained throughout the duration of the healing period.

“RPM allows the vascularization you get from a mesh, but with the softness of a membrane that remains kind to soft tissues. With the mesh, and the bone quality I see at seven months, I can shorten time to implants by about two months.”

A hybrid approach to ridge augmentation

RPM takes a hybrid approach to ridge augmentation and is available in a variety of configurations, including those with fixation points and interproximal shapes.

Unique macropores

The unique circular macropores of RPM are designed to allow revascularization and infiltration of cells into the bone graft through direct contact between the periosteum and graft. The pattern of the holes is designed for easier removal.

Space-maintaining titanium frame

RPM’s titanium frame maintains space essential for horizontal and vertical ridge augmentation procedures.

Conforms to tissue contours

As a PTFE mesh, RPM conforms to the contours of soft tissues.

Easier trimming

At only 200 microns thick, RPM can be trimmed to its desired size.
