How it works.

The All-on-4® treatment concept allows you to have extractions, implant surgery, and fitting of a temporary bridge, all in one day*. The system uses four strategically placed dental implants to support a full-arch restoration. After several weeks or months (depending on your treatment plan), your doctor then places your permanent restorations, further enhancing the function and esthetics of your smile.

"When I saw my smile for the first time, I was in a state of shock. A few moments went by, and then the tears started rolling down my cheeks. I had regained my smile, but more importantly, I knew that I was about to reclaim my confidence."

Is it right for me?

When was the last time you bit into a crunchy apple? Do you dread public speaking because of problems with your teeth? Do you have dentures that cause you trouble and discomfort?

Dentures often aren’t the answer.

If you are missing most of your natural teeth, dentures may be the first treatment option that comes to mind.

However, denture-wearers often complain about problems and discomfort caused by their dental appliance.

The All-on-4® treatment concept is designed to be a cost-effective, natural-looking solution for patients who are missing all or most of their natural teeth in a row.

By consulting with a Center of Excellence practitioner you can determine if the All-on-4® treatment concept is the best option for your personal oral health goals.

On the day of surgery, four implants will be placed within an arch. You will leave your appointment with a temporary fixed prosthesis and new smile.

    Step 3

After the gums and bone have healed, you will return to the dentist to receive your final fixed prosthesis. Now you can finally show off your new smile to the world!

Why choose the All-on-4® treatment concept?

When you have lost all or most of your natural teeth in one or both jaws, your options are typically limited to a full denture or dental implants. The All-on-4® treatment concept seeks to replicate the strength and stability of natural teeth by surgically implanting artificial roots directly into the jawbone.

Dental implants provide similar stability, dependability, and strength as natural tooth roots. You can enjoy your favorite foods, speak clearly, laugh, and kiss with total confidence.

Important safety information

This website provides information on routine dental implant treatment. Treatment plans involving dental implants will be unique for each patient. Timing, cost and delivery of care will be customized to suit each patient‘s individual situation. Care providers have their own preferences for the way a particular course of treatment is delivered and may suggest alternatives or variations not included in this information. The information on this website is provided for information purposes only. Nobel Biocare does not endorse any specific treatment provider and is not responsible for the quality of the treatment provided by the treatment provider.

Placement of dental implants is done during a surgical procedure. Dental surgery carries certain general risks including infection of the bone, tingling caused by damage to nerve tissue which may be temporary or long term, and excessive bleeding during or after the surgery. Dental implants are not intended to be used in all patients. After placement, dental implants may fail to integrate with the bone. If this occurs, they will need to be removed in a secondary procedure. Consult your dentist to find out if dental implants are right for you.
